Thieves tea and Copaiba tea - information you simply MUST have...:-)

Have you ever realized HOW powerful our Thieves essential oil is? It's famous and often imitated for good reason! Take the time to research and read what the chemical constituents D limonene, eucalyptol, and eugenol can actually DO for the human body. It does in our bodies what it does for the plant--protect it, and there are studies out there that prove it. Those 3 constituents are the chemical building blocks in the plants that GOD created before he created us. Because plants can not be patented...there's no money for big pharm who may or may not try to keep you from...big farm. :-) LOL!! The FDA does prohibit me from linking you to any studies, so I implore you to search those constituents and research them (as well as Thieves) for yourself!

Here's why honey helps heal. Go with raw honey (click 'em--those colored words are links!) and if you can get it locally, even better!!

You may use a tea as a base if you like, and add peppermint to soothe a sore throat. BUT, be careful with  peppermint - LESS than a full drop is more than enough. If you simply dip a toothpick into your bottle top and get some oil on it and swirl it into your tea, THAT is enough for a  whole cup of tea!! Also, if you're new to oils stick to ONE drop of Thieves until you feel ready for more. One drop of oil can cover each cell in our body millions of times over. Isn't that amazing?

A couple more tips:

-Heat your water instantly without the use of plastic and very little electricity with this electric tea kettle. I personally own this and recommend it.

-Allow your tea or hot water to cool before adding your essential oil. You do not want to destroy the effective parts of the oil!

The tea kettle listed in the affiliate link above allows you stop heating the water whenever you're ready to with a simple flip of the lever. Other bonuses? Hot water with no long wait, no pots or pans and no microwaves!

-add a drop of  Frankincense and/or Copaiba to your tea

Copaiba is a fabulous "enhancer" of other essential oils and it has very little taste to it. It's main chemical constiuents are alpha humulene and beta caryophyllene. If you have not checked out what those constituents do, you will probably flip your lid after researching that. This is something you can take without any prescription or card, and it is THE ONLY FDA approved dietary supplement of this nature.

What's this buzz about Copaiba?
Here's where we have potential to blow your mind. I located great, compliant information from Adam Ringham and this graphic made by Crystal Hovland of Bee Oily~ should answer the questions!

Beta-caryophyllene comes from the non-psychoactive portion of the Marijuana plant called CBD.

Copaiba oil is not only for the price, better than CBD oil - but also FAR more effective due to the much higher concentration of Beta-caryophyllene.
Beta-caryophyllene is also what's known as a "super-penetrator" when it comes to cell membrane permeability - so those in the epigenetics crowd, take note.

(Hmm. Maybe I'd prefer to have Copaiba tea with a drop of Thieves instead. :-)

Young Living is the only Essential Oil Company to offer true Copaiba oil, steam distilled from the oleoresin from trees of the Copaifera genus collected in the Amazonian rain forest. This method of extraction leaves the trees in tact.

A little more information on Copaiba is available in the Young Living blog, and more recipes, here.

Here's another way to soothe the throat effectively and naturally. Add Copaiba for amplified comfort - it is widely used as a remedy in South America.
